I was like “oh cool, I love this fight” and beat him first try (my first attempt at him as a boss took me countless attempts to finally beat him). I was exploring around for a place to progress and I found the dragons slayer armour as a mini boss. I got the DLC, and beat the Ashes of Ariendel with a friend (a choice I regret because we did every single boss first go) and when I get to the ringed city, I beat the demon prince, get to the inner ring city and get up to the black water swamp place. So after a long amount of time getting up to the last boss, I decided to not kill him without doing the DLC, so I purposely died.
